Ok...

Just to keep you guys up to date the top does work, it's just on a different switch. Almost went and put insurance on it today..but then the wind picked up, and it clouded over..so it can wait a while longer.

Glad you got her going Shawn, most of the times it all comes down to easy fixes lol ... Electrical issues/gremlins are always fun to de-snag.

I remember my first wiring problem 30 yrs ago, everytime i started my car i could smell burning wiring
being an electrician i had the tools to trace it and found a negative wire was getting hot and melting my harness
I could not understand how a negative could ground out and get hot.
Took some with more brains then me to notice I did not have the small jumper from the firewall to the valve cover
so when i started my car the starter was getting its ground through the wire from the alternator.
Boy was i lucky i had a spare wiring harness and that it did not create a fire..
Now i have a heavy duty ground from frame to the engine block !!
