my 12 bolt was making noise when i removed the differential cover the ring and pinion only has 10 bolts and it has 31 spline axles instead of the normal 30 spline i know both oldsmobile 442s and some gtos had these rearends is it normal for my beaumont

That Olds style 12 bolt would not be stock for a Beaumont. Along with the 10 bolt ring gear it will also have bolt in axles, not the Chevy style c clips.
