68 Parisienne Strut Rod question

I have a drivers side rod you can have. It still has the inside nut and bushing sleeve stuck to it, I probably will have to carefully cut a slot in the nut and sleeve to remove them, and hopefully the threads under that sleeve will still be good. It's what happens under the sleeve that ruins the rod.

If nobody else comes forward with somthing better (which is very likely), it's your's for shipping (after I make sure its still good for you).

But you'd think there would be thousands out there, since they made at least a million of them.

You could always splurge for some Global West Rods...

Cheers and good luck,

Mark

Hi all,

I recently had new front springs and shocks installed on the 2+2 and during the alignment phase, the tech found the strut rod threads stripped at a point very close to getting the car perfectly aligned.

So, now I'm looking for another LF strut rod. Looking online, I find very little. Lots of bushing kits but only one strut rod on Ebay.

Anybody have any suggestions where I can get another ? Are they repro'd or will I only find used ?

Regards,

Scott (LandShark ...)
