Nice find, but I hate to tell you it doesn't look like it has a 6 cyl in it anymore. What's in the car port beside it? Looks to be like the rear end of a 65 Parisienne.
back then,, Lanigan Saskatchewan had it's own little 1/4 mile drag strip ....sanctioned?? who knows.. kinda doubt it as you can see the 100 KM sign in the background. This shot was from the the guy that built the car at that time....
same old story..young family ...blew the engine...time to go .......
next owner did the tunnel ram and radiused wheel wells and such.. bounced around for awhile,,, I bought it at sort of an estate sale sitting in an old garden plot with flat tires..
been 15 years in dry storage since......

No, it would be a neat story as to the how hay had a dragstrip in a small town ... And it was legit? Lanigan is on highway 16 ?? This mist have been an old service road, that was on it's way out of service once the highway was upgraded...
Cool pic !!! I have to agree....

a few more pics.. can anyone deocode the tag ,, I see it had a glide , but what was the original colour and the other option ?
A long winded story , but I good friend of mine MAY have built and painted this car in the early 70's , I was visiting his widow , and she shows me a pic of the Acadian the had... well,,, it popped of the page certain that it was the same car ....
I always assumed the colour was original ..till I seen the pic and started investigating the car more...... I'm 98% certain it was the same car.... but I can't show him or ask him the story..... he passed on 2 years ago
Kind of neat...
