Very very nice, and im thinking this was posted on here couple years ago?. Looks really familiar thought it was a local car and the price then was around 10-12.
Someone had it figured out that the "R" was likely put on by someone on the assembly line to signify some particular process having been completed, and the extra line added to complete the "X" when another process was completed.

My firewall markings: Sideways "R", then written over top of it is "XPRB" then beside that is "307-1-8", then below that is "7447" (which denotes a 2 dr. sports coupe).
