Was wondering if a split bench front seat from a 67 (full size) will fit/bolt in to my 59?

 I realize the whole platform changed in 65

My 66 at 79.6  had a 71 seat at 79.9  in it ...    

A 67 is 80.0 inches and a 59  is 77.7 inches wide        

It should work      

 

or you could leave the doors ajar  lol

Never had a problem before getting that extra 2 inches in...so we should be good to go.

My brother is using a strato bench in his 55 chevy and it seems to fit great.  He's going to steal the one I got with my 67 Grande parts car as the one he has now as a dummy (he can't remember where he got) it is from a four door. (The backs don't tilt.)
