I think this is my first time posting,I registered here when the site first started and have watched from the sidelines. Need some imfo on getting the correct original carb for my mothers 67 pontiac 2+2, it,s all original as far as I can see, except someone highgraded the original valve covers, 327/275 hp, 400 turbo . If someone could post a picture of the correct carb showing the linkage and the kickdown setup. If I run across a carb that would work that would be ok too.I'v checked different sources and seem to come up with many different numbers so i figured I'd come here and post it and maybe find out for sure what is correct. I know how everyone likes pictures so I took a few tonight before dark, I will try to post them . thanks Jo

I have one still mounted on an original untouched 67 Grande 275 horse 327 turbo 400 car but it is real dirty and covered in mouse crap. if you can't find a more photogenic one I can take some snaps.

Great picture, now I know the correct linkage setup, what would be the correct numbered carb and date for my setup, the engine is late April so I assume the car build was 5 th month 67. I would think the body tag shows the build date but i'm not sure how to decipher it. Jo
Welcome Joe from Canada's east coast ... glad you finally posted! Nice car with potential!

Thanks for all the replies guys. A little history on this car my mother bought it new from Trapp Motors in Vancouver or Burnaby can't remember exactly where they were, she drove it up to about 98 then it was parked, she loved this car, called it old red.Mom passed away a few years ago and now the car sits.I'v got lots of projects of my own but can't seem to part with this car, sister says sell. Anyways if i'm going to keep it I better get it running. apparently a couple old fellows that were neighbours of moms took the carb of to work on it and its got lost to make a long story short so now I have to hunt down the correct carb.Anyway we'll leave it at that.
Mark that shot of your tag ,is the date code E7 meaning 5 th month of 67,am I reading that right . I found a 67 202 carb, it says L6 so i'm assumming thats a Dec 66 carb. Thanks again Jo
