Doubts on cylinder head casting number

Hey guys,

I'm looking forward in selling the former 194 CID inline 6 engine of my 65 Beaumont SD. The guy who wants to buy it is interested mainly in the cylinder head so we had to check the casting number of it yesterday. The head has #52253586. The thing is that we can't find any info on this number anywhere on the internet.

Does anybody have any info on heads with casting #52253586???

Please help

Regards,

I looked a bunch and can't find anything like that number, as you say.

Have you checked to make sure you have the correct numbers? Normally a GM casting number from the 60's would only be 6 or 7 digits. I've never seen 8 digit castings in the 60's for engine parts.
