RE: 1965 Pontiac Parisienne conversion Powerglide to 4 Speed Muncie or Saginaw ???

Bjorn and I have been playing email tag for a bit, but I've been waiting until tomorrow until I can answer without issues. Aprox 4 weeks ago, a customer called up with a '65 Impala ss conv and has decided he wanted it to be converted into a 4 spd. I explaind that I had everything, the floor hump, console(s), shifter(s), m-20 transmissions(s), bell hsgs(s), clutch-pressure plate-flywheels, pedals etc, well he asked me to hold them until he arrived on Vancouver Island Thursday Jan 9th to visit his sister and I agreed. At this time I haven't heard from him since but must keep my word and plan on waiting until Friday before I can help out. He asked me to keep the best of all parts for him but have other in various conditions, except for the floor hump, I only have one of those! Thanks Dave

that hump being as rare as they are.. would be a good idea to take a wak of pictures and dimensions, a couple of templates...

I know it would take 3 or 4 hours,,, but with a  shrinker/stretcher .. planishing hammer.. and some basic skills ..  one could be fabbed up..

may not be perfect ,, but it may be worth someones time !

good to know that there is one loose one out there..for the time being  !wink
