Ridetech HQ shocks...

Went mental and bought a set. They sure look quality, and are Fox rebuildable. And they are light as a feather.

Always wanted some adjustability. These just might fit the bill. Hope to eventually dial it all in. Getting close. We will see. Will report back.

For anyone interested, my Low mile Edelbrock AIS shocks will be for sale shortly. Inquire. Excellent shocks, good ride and good handling, good all round. Good deal cant be beat.

Cheers,

Imagine... a big boat 67 Grande Parisienne actually handling. My lord.

Mark, what's your secret? How do you manage to win so many lotteries? I assume you must be winning. You make me jealous with your car budget!

You have to sell some stuff from time to time Carl.

This round was a motorcycle.

What shocks did you have previous, and how do these compare as far as ride harshness?

I had cheap worn out Monroe shocks up front, and the pneumatic adjustable shocks in the rear. They rears sucked! (never held air for too long) an they were stiff.

I saved about $30 per shock, and chose the RideTech "EQ" ...instead of the"HQ" adjustable model you bought. I contemplated the decision slightly... but then convinced myself that I would likely never crawl around under the car fine tuning them (if I had them).

They bolt right in with no mods required. The only thing you'll need to change is the length of the upper rear shock bolts. (you'll need bolts about 1/2" longer than stock).

Combined with the Hotchkis suspension...the car handles like a modern car. You make a great choice!

Thanks Kyle,

With an all Global west front end, combined with the upcoming upper and lower Spohn Performance rear arms, with Delsphere forward bushings, she should real be nice.

The biggest issue for me is getting the spring rate correct. Coil overs would be the ultimate.

Cheers,

Agreed. Coil overs would be sick! ...but then you have to ask yourself what you need them for??? Unless you intend to be full out road racing, it wouldn't make any difference. Sounds like a very impressive setup you've purchased. "It's only $$$..."Dead a long time brotha!". bro!  ;o)

Cheers!
