With respect to what ARCADIAN said double check everything.
For my 65 Custom Sport I ordered 65 Impala - wrong. So ordered 65 Bonneville ( no air ) - they sent for air - it fit but was much smaller. So ordered no air again - bingo on third try.
The reason for all this is because even though everything else is Chevy on my CS the dash is American Pontiac.

I was curious about that. The glove box on my car is not the best of condition and wondered if an American glove box would fit.
