Sorry Phillip, not in my 65 body manual for Chev. Steering column must be in chassis manual which I don't have. I don't have a straight column at home to check, I put a tilt in my hardtop that's in the garage. The ragtop is still at the farm.
You were asking about thatt spring. I dont recall one at the top. The cancelling cam rides on the bearing I think. The only spring I see on my old straight column is at the bottom. Hope this helps.
