Cooler lines

Decided to add a PS cooler since my headers were so close to the PS box. Question is on my Trans and PS cooler does the hot/inlet go on the bottom or top or does it not matter? Thx Jim

I'd say it doesn't matter in the rad, top, bottom, left, right.

But if you plan on adding a ps cooler, install a small stand alone unit in-line, on the low pressure (return side) of the system.

Mount it securely in front of the rad, or under the car where it can receive some airflow.

Wow, that is lots, you won't have hot PS fluid with that on there. Many vehicles just loop a couple of feet of PS pipe over and back to serve as a cooler. It might be too cold!!! (Just kidding of course...)

Maybe it's the oil cooler out of the 2000 GMC, did they come with one?

I think maybe some did, yes. At any rate, that will be fine I'm sure.

Wow, that'll do the trick Jim. Plus you'll have an extra half litre of fluid to boot!

That looks like the tranny cooler on my 99 Silverado. The P/S cooler is only about 3" x approx. 18".
