How to remove light switch on 62 pontiac?

Does anyone know how the light switch comes out of the dash on this 62 laurentian?

on the back side of the dash  the switch has a spring loaded button press that down and pull out the head light knob then remove the nut

Just make sure you pull the switch all the way "on" first, then push the button down and pull the knob out the rest of the way. Then I think there will be a nut/bezel you have to thread off on the front side

Yep carl's right, have to pull the knob all the way then push spring loaded button. Disconnect batt. or lights will be on!!!!
