          I think its a personal thing...     you pick a ride and enjoy it...  

          In 1953, "old car guys" thought the Corvette, was "taking away" from Classic vintage cars...          

          In 1955, "old car guys" thought the new GM 265 V8 was "taking away" from Classic Vintage cars  

          In 1964 "old car guys" thought Muscle cars (64 GTO) were "taking away" from classic vintage cars

I think when your original drivetrain,interior and some other things are gone and never going to be able to be tracked down,A LS motor is a great option.

It`s whatever makes you happy.....this is why I have always said....you need a minimum of two classic cars in your collection....this way one can be a period correct BB and the other an LS

 Or you need two so you can have one Blown 572 and one TT LS.  biggrin
