Drivers side door will not unlatch

more questions..... Hope you guys dont tire of them.

The drivers door on my 68 Parisienne worked fine, until I locked it. Now it seems to unlock, the inside knob goes up and down, and I hear a click, but I cannot open the door from the inside or outside. When I push the outside door latch in, there is nothing, no resistance, no clicking, nothing. Looks pretty hard to take the inside door panel off with ther door closed. I have bought the proper tools to remove the panel, but..... anyone run into this and find a solution? Thanks Dale

My '67 2+2 Rag does that too.... for the past 30 years! (lol) Here's what I do... Spray the latch assy and use the lock knob to work the lubricant in it... with mine, when I work the lock knob up and down, it will do the "click" noise and then all of a sudden, it will "clunk".... that's when I know all will be fine... clockwork since day 1!

Cha Ching! winner, you my friend get a beer or two if we ever meet!! Works Great. I did have to give the door handle a gentle tap with a no mar, and thats all it took. So I gave the passenger side some lube as well. Thanks!!!
