1968 Parisienne driverside power window switch

hey guys,

Is there a proper way to remove this switch. I removed my door panel and the switch came apart. The wires are soldered to the switch. So should I have bent the metal tabs in the switch to door panel and pulled it through?

 Thanks Dale050.jpg051.jpg049.jpg

Yes, you need to bend those 6 tabs and pull it out the front.

Since it's apart, take the time to clean up all the terminals before you crimp it back together. Terminals that need cleaned are often the reason for a switch that won't work.

Make sure you test it before you put it all back together!
