Had the pleasure of the Canso being parked in front of the house and of course, Jim's (hawkeye5766) and his son James's company yesterday afternoon and night,
Had Clint (seventy 2 plus 2) join us for supper, and then a quick trip off to the A&W on Glenmore,to see what's was there.
The rest of the evening was spend at home having a great BS session that lasted for hours.
Jim and James left this morning heading home with a stop in Banff.
It was good to see them again.
James,Jim,Clint with their cars at the A&W on Glenmore in Calgary.
Group photo for evidence.
Saturday morning farewell to Calgary, and heading west to Banff.
Just pulled into Salmon Arm...too hot to drive! Hottest day of the trip so far. Could smell fuel when cruising at 120km...pulled over and removed the fuel cap(tank was under pressure) and fuel was running down the 1/4. Stopped and topped up with some cool fuel and all was good. Short notice, but trying to get a hold of Wes (66 Beau). A few more pics. Passed a fire that just started near Revelstoke.
Looks like the car needs a good wash.Them tires are dirty.

Car is back home in it's nest. James and I can't thank you guys and your family's enough!! From breakfast, lunch, dinners and accommodations..you made us feel like part of your family. From Dan,Mark,Rog,George and all the other members that came out to meet us at coffee. Was great to meet/see you all....no family like the CP family!!!! If you guys are ever near the Island...just PM! Thanks again Jim and James. One more thing I can cross off off the bucket list....but don't be surprised if you get a re-encounter.
Glad you had a fun and safe trip.Still think you should have stopped in
for a since you were next door.
