I used SEM vinyl dye. The shop I had the 1/4 made at could not add pearl. When comparing colour chips the pearl matched two different colours depending on indoor or outdoor. I selected the indoor colour match. To add a bit of pearl I used a spray can of duplicolor pearl top coat and misted it on as I didnt want excessive gloss.
As a side note, my panels were really chalky but my budget doesnt allow for replacements at this time.
Not much has been done to the car in the past 2 1/2 years. It is still bush find fugly. Interior and under hood still present themselves well but do need a cleaning.
In the mean time I rebuilt a 69 Karmann Ghia convertible for my mother. Literally replaced the bottom 3 inches all the way around.
Yes that is the same car 9 months between pictures.
After that I've been picking away at my 57 Chevy street freak.
