supposed to be a 'vert.....with a "girlie" transmission...

Perhaps they might have listed as Parisienne?

Call my 427 Parisienne with 400 turbo a "girlie" transmission and I would send you a box of stale muffins "collect"

      From the listing...

Lot #971 - This matching numbers 1967 Pontiac Parisienne 2+2 convertible

is one of 23 produced that year and has 75,382 original miles (mileage not indicated on the title).

It underwent a 4-year body-off restoration to Concours show-quality and is finished in stunning deep black exterior paint.

All of the original body panels were restored.

This vehicle has been reupholstered with the correct Parchment Pearl vinyl seats and features the original crack-free dash.

All of the interior pieces have either been reconditioned to factory specifications or replaced.

It has an all-new soft-top with all reconditioned or new parts and a real glass rear window.

This stunning Parisienne is powered by its rebuilt, original, matching-numbers, balance and blueprinted GM Astro Jet 427ci big block Chevy engine

backed by a TH400 automatic transmission.

Pretty sure weve seen this one before. Think the owner might have been out of the Red Deer area and much of the work was done here in Kelowna up Dillworth Mountain. Real nice car if its the one I looked at. The wheels left a spot in my memory bank.

Is "sissy" more appropriate?

OK....I remember it now........and we've already flogged it.......

Anybody know if it was built as a black car....I'm thinking NOT.....prolly white....or red.

Seeing as how this is the "Holy Grail"....of attainable Canadian built Pontiac muscle cars.....It WILL be interesting to see what the rich inebriated Americans (and Canadians) think it's worth....

Appraised value $225,000........Kijiji asking price $150,000......and NO reserve on the auction block?????

I'm thinking that the owner is going to take a bath....OR end up buying it back.....
