65 cs console questions

I learned something new. I thought Impala and Custom Sport consoles were the same. What's the difference?

Whoops, sorry, I should have stated I meant 64.

Yes, I think 65 is identical other than what sits in the front insert.

I had thought in the past guys here had said 64 was identical, Pontiac vs. Chevy.

Also the 64 console has a pad insert and is overall taller in the lid between the seats and the 65 cs is flat
