Reverb box and controller connection

hi all,

i have a reverb unit and wish to wire it up. not sure on year though but definately 60s. The controller is pictured. Anyone got amy wiring diagrams? Seems to be one or two little wires on the circuit board come adrift. I have a radio bulletin book for 65 chev but doesn't have reverb. Suspect later model? The pot controls the front to rear fade me thinks, and the 2 switches and electronics hanging off the back, reverb?

I don't recognize that as a GM reverb switch. Do you have a picture of the box? I think I have some reverb wiring diagrams but I'd like to see the box to see if I can figure out which one you have.

Hey Phil,

Carl is right this does not look like a GM unit.

Can you read the stamping on the side of the controlller? That may give a clue as to who made it.

There were a number of aftermarket units some made by Motorola...spotted this diagram on Ebay.

Just remember that a reverb unit doesn't work with STEREO radios, they need to be MONO.

Stereo radios separate the sound and so does reverb, one will mess up the other and leave you with nothing but distortion.

I have  a complete Pontiac reverb set that I got from the Tin Man a few years ago that I haven't installed in my 63 Parisienne yet.

I also have an aftermarket Echo II reverb on the shelf, but I don't know if it works or if it's complete....can't find any install info. anywhere.
