Sorry, I was looking at your blurry & upside photo's on my phone, it looked like the cable was connected to the passenger side of the carb like a choke cable. Yes, I'd say it's the cable for a turbo 350 kickdown.

This is the bracket you'll need, I think. Saved it off a 69 350 2 barrel TH350. Throw me a pm with your address and I'll get it out to you.

I think I even have more parts of the cable assembly, just have to find them.

It mounts to the drivers side, at the 2 most rearward intake bolts. And there is another part to the bracket, which I'm sure I have.

not much of a welder yet but rust is gone, figured best to replace the areas before having the tank in haha  never was a big fan of the rubberized coating but hoping it will help

Por 15 is the best for undercoating. Buy small quantity's as it dries out quickly.  can be applied with a brush or spray gun.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES AS IT DOES NOT COME OFF...... IT HAS TO WEAR OFF ANYTHING THAT YOU GET IT ON.

imho I dont like undercoating at all on a summer only car, only did the trunk area under neath and the trunk as prob never do it again and yes hide my bad welding ,but I have had too many cars sprayed with under coating to hide things rust ,bondo ect and then to repair it properly is a pain to remove..painted is ok but I normally stay clear when I see undercoating on a only nice day car ..

POR 15 is more of a paint than an undercoating. It won't hide sins. It's an amazing product and dries rock hard. You can get it in semi-gloss black as well.

I wouldn't go with POR 15, it'll look like you coated it with POR 15.

You can paint over Por-15 however it's best to do while it's still tacky.

Bill, you might want to ensure you photo's are right side up before posting them. I suspect you're camera is up side down when you're taking the photo's, and henceforth they get uploaded up side down.

Thanks guys, yes besides changing the distubitor ,and putting some of the plug wires in the right order I was very happy that it runs and runs as well as it does after sitting so long..soaking the cylinders and priming before starting it I think really helped..why he painted a 69 motor blue is something I don't understand ? so had to clean it up and change that..my buddy don"t leave for a month yet so really pushing to get it at least looking good and on the road so he and his sister can take thier dads car for a drive,,,I really like the car, thinking of parting with my 64 instead but thinking about it

I see you've got a rear speaker. I've got one in my ragtop, but many don't.
