Rear Brake Flex Line 67 Parisienne Convertible

I was wondering if someone could take a picture of the rear flex line on your 67?

After looking at pictures of new lines on RockAuto and the Hubbard Impala catalogue , I am convinced the previous owner

installed a flex line for a 69 or 70.

From what I can tell the 66 67 68 line screws into a T fitting

the 69 70 line has the T crimped on the end of the line

Hope someone can post some pictures or set me straight on the T fitting?

If Im right about the T fitting being a separate piece on the 67 I will need to find one with the bracket?

Kinda Confused???

Thanks Greg

I did mine a few years back. A real pain.

Here's a few forgotten about, and not too clear shots of when I pulled the 12 bolt out of my 67. I believe the line end is male into a female T junction at the diff. I think the line passes through the bracket, into the T and is clipped into place on the backside. The line end at the frame is female, clipped into place, with the brake line flare fitting into that. The frame end was a bear to get the flared end and tube nut out of the line. It was totally frozen, and attempting to remove it destroyed the hard line. There is about zero room to work up there.

I grabbed a screenshot of the 67 ends off Rock Auto,

Those pictures confirm that they flex line is a 69 or 70 on my car.

Thanks for the pics!

So now for me to fix my car properly I need some parts.

If I understand your description properly Mark, starting at the hard line

1- U clip (available at Hubbards Impala)

2- flex line (available many places)

3- U clip (available at Hubbards Impala)

4- brass T ( available at Hubbards Impala)

5- The Steel piece that bolts to the axle  This is the piece I need to find either from a fellow member

or if anyone knows a source I would buy it there.

Am I missing anything?

I'm not 100% Greg about how the line is clipped to the bracket at the Diff. Car is still away.

Perhaps someone else could chime in.

Do any of the Poncho Buddys have some 67 B body

rear 12 bolt brake flex line parts they want to part with?

I've got a 12 bolt diff from a 1968 Parisienne that I can take a look at. I'm pretty sure the brass junction block is still there as well as the bracket that holds it. Getting to the diff is the awkward part.

All of a sudden something clicked and I realized maybe I can help.

I pulled this 12 bolt out of a 67 wagon likely over 30 years ago.

Does this show the stuff you are looking for? Obviously I can't help with the hose but I have the tee, hose clip and mounting bracket.

Carl I would be your best friend forever if you would sell that

clip and bracket and T to me!

If you had a U clip hiding somewhere (for the hose to frame connection)

that would be awesome too!!

Let me know

Thanks Greg

I suspect the hose to frame clip is the same as the hose to bracket? If so, I think I have an extra one of those too.

Suspect you may find the T and bracket at In-line tube or The Right stuff Detailing

I just pulled it off and have it ready to go. I'll try to get it out tomorrow. If it turns out to be what you need we'll work out a donation to this site for it if you are ok with that.

I'll toss in the end of the brake hose you see pictured in case it helps when you go to buy the hose.

I could have sworn I had a Carlson U clip, but can't find it. I'll see if I can get a Carlson part # today.
