Part Number needed for ‘70 B Body Brake Rotors.

Does anyone have a good part number for 70 B Body brake rotors? The Centric number is 120.62066 but when crossed over Raybestos, Wagner, or Winhere all come up with rears for a Pontiac Montana. Cant find a number using application with these companies either. Any help with a good number would be appreciated. Thanks

The only rotors I've been able to find are the Centric ones. No one else makes them as they're a 2 year (69 & 70) only part and long out of production.

The one on the hazeukgoods link is a 1 piece hub / rotor design and is sold by The Parts Place and Classic Industries. The original design is a 2 piece hub & rotor.

Ideally, I would want the original, mount from behind rotors, but I am going with C3 vette rotors with my 70 single piston disc setup. Just a little work to get them to fit.

As of this posting, the outside pad needs a little shave, along with the caliper mounting ears, inside boss surface. New studs were also required, since the vette rotor mounts from the outside of the hub..

The advantage is, these C3 rotors cost $60 cdn ea. Might be considered a negative, I see it as a positive as this method increases your front track width about .75 inch.

Using a 69 or 70 drum hub would eliminate any clearance issues as mentioned.

Note:  The car in my avatar is a 67 body sitting on a 68 Station Wagon frame.

This is the one I used when I replaced the original hub with the corvette hub.  Had to use longer studs on the hub as the rotor fit on the opposite side to stock.

The car had the optional 4 piston caliper set up. Some minor adjustments were needed.

Mark has an excellent write up on the process for his car and mine..

The listing says for 4 piston caliper.

But I think these are the Centric single piston rotors 69-70. 120.62066

Yes, the Centric 120.62066 are for the 69-70 single piston calipers. I'm running them on my 70 2+2 rag.

So is there an actual difference in rotors? Single verses four piston caliper. Online Centric seems to say 67-70. Anyway I never checked Rock Auto. Just local suppliers.

I don't think there is any difference in the rotors between 67-68 4 piston and 69-70 single piston.

I found the Centric rotors through Rock Auto. So I bit the bullet and ordered them. Not exactly what I wanted to pay but they had them. And I have seen them higher on other online sites. I guess Im just not used to paying retail.

I found a pair on ebay a year or so ago, someone must have bought them and was getting rid of them. I paid much below retail.

Now, just a word of advice. DO NOT damage or discard the original 69/70 disc brake wheel studs, they're extremely hard to find.

No, but for some reason I was looking for some, and discovered they're very rare. As per usual though, I now have spares.

When I did my C3 brake conversion on the Chief I went and ordered Corvette wheel studs as they are longer and not that hard to come by. Never had any issues at all......
