I've read some of the posts, and I'm not sure what you're looking for.
From what I can tell, you've found a place in Vancouver Canada that can make you a window, is that correct? But they won't pack it for shipping? Is that correct?

I found a used one in Vancouver, the guy won't pack it for shipping, he will be sure that nothing happens, and he searched a professional for package.

You say The guy won't pack it for shipping, and he searched for someone to professionally package it.

Was he unable to find someone to package it?

Has the window been paid for?    Are you looking for someone to pick up the window, package it, and then ship it to you?

Hi just noticed this thread as I have been off the forum for a while.

If all else fails or is unfeasible I actually have two clear glass rear windows still installed, one on a 66 Grande Parisienne two door hardtop parts car and one on a 67 Grande Parisienne two door hardtop parts car.  I picked these cars up partly knowing how hard these are to find to make sure my 66 Grande would have extras if needed. Mine is shaded glass car though so won't likely use them.

I can take a picture or two if you like.

Again shipping with be the real cost here.  It will certainly involve a wooden crate and lots of careful padding etc.

This massage he write me today

Good evening Mario

Sorry about the delay. I left Vancouver for holidays and was very busy. I made up a wooden box for the window and when I finished I was not happy with the box and felt that the window would maybe break. I really want to make sure it arrives to you in one piece and does not break. I am looking for an carpenter to make a box. I was advise to get a carpenter that makes boxes for art (paintings) I am currently trying to get references ...hopefully I can find someone this week

Now is the Rear Window in Germany, I start to search at the end of May. The Price for the used Window, package, shipping, Tax..... was around 1100, but I'm happy. I think in the next weeks we will install it, I hope everything will fit.

Thanks for your help
