Glovebox Lock Cylinder Install

Ever take something apart and not take note of the obvious thing you will need to know when you put it back together? Well, I did. So, I finally decided to get a matching keyed trunk lid and glovebox lock. I got the old lock cylinder out of the glovebox lock housing. Comes out easy...too easy. It slipped right out and fell on the floor and I didnt pay attention to the lock cylinder orientation. So how do I install the new one back in the housing? Tried the typical You Tube and came up empty. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Part of Marks collection of 69 Pontiac gems, that he pulled from his rafters and stuffed in my trunk, was a black Glove Box Door.

I can pull it down from my loft and get you some detailed picks tomorrow night.

Or better yet, I could ship it to you for cost plus CP donation smile

Thanks Randy! I am good on the lid. I just need to see the key hole orientation in the unlocked position.
