Yes, those caps have those one way clips on the back so that was tough. I really need to find someone who has some caps or figure out a way to make something. Some of my caps are in rough shape.

If you get a chance, post a picture of the caps.

I'll have to keep an eye out for those. Do you need all eight?

No but I'd buy all 8 so they match if I can find the right ones.

So a nice update to this-

Peter nicely located this company who sells exactly what I needed for hubcaps. However, they wanted me to buy at least 300. I just couldn't justify the investment when I need 8. I wasn't sure I could sell the rest. I am on a forum for these toys. A guy on there was looking for caps, he has quite a collection of these trucks. I gave him the details on the caps including this link. I suspect he is doing ok and could afford to take the plunge. He ended up ordering 350 caps, kept 88 for himself  and has sold all but about 1/2 dozen sets (8 per truck). Yes it cost me over 50 bucks for 8 caps but at least I have the last missing piece for this restoration plus a bunch of other guys who needed caps have them now too. Win/win situation.

Now I just need the time to finish the restoration. If Ontario stays closed it may still happen this summer.

I would leave it as Gulp Oil, not change a thing, put it on a shelf where you can see it and enjoy the memories.

I'm afraid it's too late for that, last winter I got this far on it.

I'm actually looking forward to having it how it looked the day it came home with me!
