Got an appt for next week, so we'll see how it goes. Looking forward to the first step towards normalcy again. Don't care much about side effects, as long as it doesn't kill me (no pain no gain), I almost welcome feeling sick for a day or two as I'll then know it's doing something... A pain in the arm is no problem because I go through every day with pain in some part of my body.
I'll chime in with the others to say that it would be foolish to not follow the science on this one (or anything, for that matter). There's a huge knowledge base out there and nobody knows everything, so you gotta follow the experts on stuff like this. Follow the scientists and not some random internet believer of ridiculous conspiracy theories. Vaccines have a long history of eradicating bad viruses from our society, allowing us to live the free and easy lives we've come to know (and come to miss for the past year), so now is not the time to question them, but to do your part to put an end to this crap.
Anyhow, I'm rambling again, so I'll stop.
Edit: Got the Moderna shot on Wednesday. Symptoms were minor, a little soreness in the arm that lasted for a couple of days, low energy levels and very very mild symptoms of flu, almost unnoticeable except I was paying attention to them. All in all good. I hear the second shot is where the symptoms are more severe, but usually subside in about a day. We'll see...

Sounds like you've been listening in on the conversations here between my wife and I. We always say there's no point in us going to our doctor or asking her for help if we won't like the answer or think we know better than her. We have experts for a reason.

Booked for the 24th this month..........I have no idea what variety I will get......
I am not concerned either, ..........I counted up all the vaccinations I have received over the years from polio, tetanus, hep a & b, typhoid, diphtheria, H1N1, measles, mumps, rubella, and rabies so I figured another vaccine wouldn't hurt me.
Edit: I think I had a yellow fever vaccination as well and likely some others I can't think of.
I asked my chiropracter if he was getting the shot (knowing full well what his answer would be) and he reluctantly said "No"
To each their own...........

I just got the shot today. I was at the store getting some milk and cookies and the pharmacist approached me and said they had a few doses left and did not want to waste them. I said no at first but then thought why not, called him back, and now I am good till the next virus comes around in a couple years.
booked in for may the 12th, not sure what shot. then sept for the second one. like 68 Grande i was counting my difference vaccines over the years. im retired military and im on my second needle book. i got the tb vaccine by mistake around 95. but thats another story.
Girlfriend got hers yesterday and told me to call as I'm barely legal at 56, I got my Moderna shot at 1:40 pm this afternoon, How quick was this ? :) My arm is a bit sore and I still did my Army pull ups work out after ... Nap time !
Moderna yesterday 11:00 AM, today it feels like I got an arm punch, no side effects otherwise. I was a bit concerned because I had booked an 8 1/2 hour round trip to Brandon today to trailer a car back and I was going alone. I took along some Advil in case a fever showed up but nothing. Some guys say fatigue can be a side effect but I've had a long day and feel great.

My wife and I got the AZ shot yesterday. Today was a little rough aches and pains and I ended up with fever and chills this afternoon. A good 3 hour nap fixed that. Now just a sore arm and some aches. Tomorrow I hope should be back to normal.
My older brother got his 1st. Moderna shot ... just a achy arm for the day.
I get mine next weekend, and my wife the week after that.
