How is your immune system Dan? I assume it is not what it was before your battle?

It should be as normal as ever but who really knows? It' s not like I am sick all the time. A good cold most winters and an occasional flu but that's about it. Just how it decided to hit me I guess.

Astra Zeneca, this Saturday...48 years old...a bit of a sore arm, that's it. My wife had both doses of Pfizer earlier this year, it's the second one that hurts more. My friends who got Astra this week had day of hang-over symptoms.

67, both of us have had both Pfizer shots, no reaction beyond what the annual flu shot, or a tetanus booster might entail.

Hit GoodGuys, in Raleigh, last weekend. I can't express how wonderful it feels to be able to wander around, unconcerned about masks or proximity, and bullshitting with strangers about topics of mutual interest.

Unfortunately, the Beaumont is still at the dyno shop, so I had to take another car, but a good time was had, by all. Fingers crossed that my fellow Canadians will soon be enjoying some semblance of "normal", again, and soon.

Got Pfizer, 56 feeling fine. My wife, 56, got Moderna 3 weeks ago and felt fine too. My daughter, 20, got Pfizer 3 weeks ago and had a bit of a sore arm the first night. Just my son waiting.

Very quick , efficient experience. Everyone smiling and in a good mood. Also about the only way to get into a hockey rink these days!!!

Same experience here on PEI, but they used a empty ex-grocery store instead of a rink.

Our combination internet/phone appointment system was VERY slick also. They said there will be a follow-up phone call when they are ready for my second shot.

All and all a very good experience as getting a vaccine shot goes.

One complaint; no lollypop! They used to give me a lollypop when I got a round of vaccines (in the '60ssmile).

Got my Pfizer on Friday here in Winnipeg. Huge crowd in the new Royal Bank Conference Centre but well managed.
Nothing for a side effect. I could tell which arm and the location of the needle entrance but that was it. Could never label it as "sore".

My wife and I had our shots in Detroit at Ford Field (Home of our beloved Lions), run by the military and smooth operation. We have had both shots of Pfizer, wife had some entire arm stiffness for a couple days. I was just sore for a day at the injection sight for me. Drank allot of water before, heard that helps. We are two weeks past the 2nd shot and no issues. Wife is 52, I'm 55

Got my shot on monday, well organized system. Pfizer was the drug of choice. Slight sore arm for a day.
Other than that it was painless. No pictures allowed. Was in a community Gym.

I finally got my first shot (Moderna) on Tuesday. The arm is a little tender but hardly noticeable - only if I bump it. Same as for the many other vaccines Ive needed over the years in order to travel for work.

Hardly ay side effects at all much better than the first one
The only thing that scares me now is this Delta strain that
has come about, but it will be nice for things to open up
but we still have to be carefull and not progress to quickly.
