1966 Powerglide driveshaft length

Does anyone have a driveshaft from a 66 Pontiac or full size Chev, Powerglide car or 3 speed standard, lying on the floor that they can tell me the measurement from centre of U joint cup to centre of U joint cup? I know, silly request from me when I have one in the garage on my car but I can't put it up on the hoist very easy right now and jacking it up to measure has proven difficult to get an exact dimension.

How about one for a 700R4? Same length?

No and actually that is exactly what will be happening. A 700 will be coming out and a Muncie going in. Muncie, 3 speed standard and Powerglide are all the same length.

I got 63 1/2" or 62 1/4" center to center if you prefer.
