Helper shocks, has anyone seen these before ?


I'm sure these were early coil overs to assist weak springs.

Have you seen them before ?

They seem to be height adjustable.

I installed lots of those in the 70s. Mostly full size Oldsmobiles and Buicks. The cars with heavy engines always were low in the front. There werent a lot of big block Chevies or Canadian Pontiacs in my area.

My father ran these on his 73 LeMans Sport Coupe. The road to the cottage in Parry Sound was not very kind to the dual exhausts and we torn many mufflers  before getting these.
