I need help finding a part

For my 67 Parisienne Convertible, I need the plastic part that holds both sunshades in place over the mirror. I have Ames Performance catalogue and it appears that the part only comes in a kit with the set of sunshades. Does anybody have a spare or know where I can get one and if so, what the actual name of the part is?

Its called a rear view mirror bracket boot. They are available for A-bodies, but not for the B-bodies, that I have seen. Your best bet is to try and find a used one.

I think I have one from a 68 Bonneville kicking around my shop. Blue in colour if I recall. Will look for it today.

Bill.

Thanks Bill, but it doesn't look the same unless it's the angle you photographed it from. The two holes for screws on the side attach to the windshield frame to prevent the piece from wiggling when removing or putting back the sunshade.

Thanks. I found it new from Original Parts Group in California.
