I would like to get the correct trunk mat for my 66 Grande Parisienne. I assume it's the same as the one in my 66 Strato Chief, which I'm sure is the original. When Ken owned my Grande Parisienne he put in a repro mat but from what I can tell it's from a US Grand Prix. It's very different.
So my question is, does anyone on here own a Canadian 66 full size Chevrolet that has what they know to be the original trunk mat. If so I'd like to know what it looks like.

Hi Carl; yes NOS offers the complete ACC line carpets, sound deadeners', trunk mats etc. check the website "nosreproductions.com" or call Terry at 1-800-667-6200. Be sure you tell Terry that some time ago , you installed an Impala trunk mat in your Strato Chief.
Here's a pictur from the 65 GM ( cdn ) accessories catalog showing the spare tire cover being commom between Chev and Pontiac. Is it safe to assume the spare tire cover would be the same pattern as the trunk mat? Note it's 65.
I can't recall what dad's '66 had for a trunk mat (he traded it in back in January '70), nor do I recall what a friend's father's '66 Parisienne had for a trunk mat. The Parisienne was clean but had some rust in the usual places by 1979 and was scrapped, needlessly. A nice Lemonwood Yellow with black v top & interior, 283 PG p/s p/b radio. Pitty.
I can't recall which is correct, but I thought that grey & black (possibly herringbone or crowsfoot) were used in '66, aqua & black houndstooth for '67.
