SIGN PETTITION PARLEMENT CANADA E4735 TO REMOVE HIGHLY DESTRUCTIVE ETHANAL FROM OUR FUEL !

it didn't seem to work for me;
unlike normal petitions, this one required a "signature" for which a link was emailed after signing it;
I went to that email account, hit refresh several times till it showed up - but when I clicked the link it said the link was no good?

 J.

After I finished the first page it took a few minutes and I got an email from the petition.

On that page it asks the question to the effect ....if I understood what I was signing (there was no actual "signature" ) which I clicked on.

Then another page came up and said congratulations I had signed the petition.

That was it.

I use Seafoam. It is a viable solution. Use it in everything boat ( especially when I only fill the tank maybe once a year), ATV, snow blower, chain saw. Any machine that sits for a period of time between uses.

I use Sea Foam as well, been using it in all carb and non direct injection fuel injection engines.

The Republican Congress just introduced a new bill to authorize E15 for the summer months, they are going the other way.

Our premium fuel contains no ethanol last time I checked which was a couple of years ago, probably should check it again. I have 20+ year old carbs that have not needed anything done to them, using only premium and a dose of sea foam in the tank during storage. Chain saw, snowblower, lawn mower, generator, etc. The AFB in the 409 hasnt been touched since 2010 when I put a new kit in it from The Carburetor Shop, the one with the leather accelerator pump.

Sta-bil is a brand I recognize from marine, check marine stores. Widely used in sail, power, and commercial vessels as a fuel tank preservative around here.

For several weeks now this is what I get when I click the link to sign the petition: "We are sorry We couldn't find the page you were looking for. Sometimes a page gets moved or deleted."

I really wanted to sign it, not that it would change the Bigger Agenda.

This is a common technique used to slip things through without scrutiny. That is how mega-bills work in the U.S. congress. Sneaky and underhanded.

 Quote from web page:  "STA-BIL 360° Protection protects against the dangers of the new government standard E10 petrol in the UK which contains up to 10% ethanol."

Any idea if it is still effective for 15%?

I wonder about a class-action? Once 10,000 people who have had damage & forced repairs get together in a class-action it might get their attention. To knowingly force people to buy fuel that is well-documented to have destructive effects, is to set themselves up for a class-action suite.

The defendants can counter that driving is a privileged, and then will go on to talk about the destruction effects of the automobile on the environment. It will go back and forth because no one party is 100% right.

Na, the government has bottomless pockets for their defence, paid for with tax dollars.

If the car is electric, the EV fan club will support it and they can do no wrong. If it is IC then it can do no right (according to the Green Religion crowd). You can run lights and drive on the sidewalk, or so it would seem. You do realize we have been subsidizing EVs for years.

I will say it again, there is an unstated goal if ridding the highways of older cars and "gross polluters". The funny thing is, when the highways were full of gross polluters the population kept growing. We didn't drop dead by the millions because of it and the planet didn't self-combust. Say it ain't so, Clem.

Did you ever get the feeling that we are surrounded by idiots or groups with a cause? Beware the man with a cause.

Interesting about that fuel additive, being a minority who would listen upstairs , I assume there is always more important work to do , Running all my accessory garden tools , lawn tractor, chainsaw etc etc , premium is a no brainer . Ive not done research into the destructive nature of ethanol, so I am unsure if modern vehicles and any 4 stroke would suffer the same fate , if so , then it would be a great thing to lobby for as it would greatly increase sales for all the so called industry players . The lobbyists are a great government persuader . Far be it for me to be conspiracy fellow , but money seems to speak the loudest ,
