Hey guys just bought myself a 1966 pontiac parisienne this past weekend and I've been doing my research to try and find parts. The body is in not too bad of shape and it's got a running 283 with a 2 speed in it. Now I'm trying to cross reference parts for all the bushings on this car and correct me if I'm wrong but, it seem like the cross over for all suspension components is the impala, Belair of the same year for chevy? Is there any other model that uses the same parts?
Stuff im looking for aswell...
Seat cover 50/50 bench?
Wiring diagrams?
Would appreciate the help seemed like a great board while combing through.
Yes, picture parking a 66 Parisienne and a 66 Impala side by side, then lifting the body off both of them. The two chassis that remain on the ground are identical.

Welcome Wes! you will find lots of us winnipeg guys to be very friendly and helpful. Im more into beaumonts and chevelles myself, but Carl is certainly a great source for the fulsize cars. I do have lots of 283 stuff and misc small hard to find fasteners and hardware. Dont be afraid to ask.
Also, for new suspension and brake parts, Norm at Mid-Canada Suspension on Trottier Bay is a great source for hard to find parts and NOS stuff.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
When I built my 68 c10 years ago I would always deal with Reggie from walker auto for a lot of my parts in winnipeg not sure what his inventory is like for these cars.
That's good to know because I'm pretty sure my 283 might have a wiped lifter or 2 there's a pretty bad tick, I'll be doing some investigating this winter when I put in a 4bbl and try and find some 305 or 327 heads.
My first order of business is getting it ready for safety, going over the electrical and suspension.
Side note. Does anyone know how to decode the body tag under the hood?

If you post a picture of the body tag we can help you with that.

I had the same car as you back in North Battleford in high school. I sold it in 87 to move out west to work. 283 with the power glide and night watch blue (same as your original Color). Mine had a crack right in the middle of the rear bumper and a dint in the front bumper underneath on one side. Sold it to a guy in Saskatoon. Maybe you have my old car lol.
Any markers that might make you think it's yours? Maybe even the vin? I'd be glad to check because this did come out of sask
I cant really think of any distinctive markers, except for the rear bumper I had backed into a narrow but very solid steel pole and it had left a pretty good crack dead Center in the back bumper. I dont have any vin cowl tag info. I had the same interior as you about the same shape, the top of the back seat was very sun baked, I remember it crumbling when I put seat covers on it. had allot of good memories in the car, if it is the one I used to have, Im just glad to see its still around. That night watch blue was an amazing Color, looked almost purple at night.
i had bought it from the original owner who had bought if for his daughter as a wedding gift in Vancouver. She ended up giving it back to him, and it sat in the sun at the lake for years By North Battleford. Had very little rust, and around 68k at the time.
Looks like someone robbed a front ds fender off another car as it's almost seafoam green, so good chance they swapped the bumpers out too. The back seat is in really good shape. And the parcel shelf is missing. Doing some poking around and looks like the rust isn't even all that bad but time will tell looks like there was a few whiskey dents here and there that I'll have to bang out. But over all in good shape. I will keep the board posted on progress.
