Disc brake conversions, Now I am converted.

Did some engine adjustments today (less power/smoother idle).

Me and my daughter took it out for a enevning cruise to test.

Going through one of the little hamlets along #73 HWY (Elgin Road) and a SUV blew the stop sign at full speed infront of us. We did not have a stop sign.

There was only about two car lenths between me and the car infront and we were doing about 60 kms/h

This is a hamlet so with buildings, I never saw her coming.

That big Pontiac did an incredible job in stopping. The 245/60/15 helped too.

We missed that KIA by inches.

The Lady never braked or even stopped after the near miss.

A younger me would have went after her.

I had 12 years driving the convertible and I can tell you at it's finest, it could not do what this car does.

Mark, Park that car of yours in my shop this winter and lets get those disc brakes done !

Thanks to the previous owner for the disc brakes on this car !

The trip did end on a nicer note as we got to watch a landing.
