Wow. I agree, looking good Jim.
And if there's anything left after Doug takes her for a spin I wouldn't mind going for a ride.
With that white interior I guess garage clothes are out of the question, and you'll probably make us take our shoes off too.
Thanks Elroy and YES Dan if Doug doesn't break it you can have a turn! Put some sound proofing in the back seat, figure if Doug comes out and starts annoying me I can just put him in the trunk. Second thought, that's where I keep my beer!! Got the console and pass seat in for final install, back seat is in, only to make sure all the piping lines lined up with each other when installed. Still looking for a power seat base for DS seat, think 3rd gen Camaro 1 will work, just need to find one to measure. Anyone have a 3rd gen Camaro/Iroc/Berlinetta? Tonight's progress.

I'll even through a pillow in there for ya, just in case. Cleaned up my 1/4 interior panels, bought new arm rest pads but my orig were in great shape so just dyed them and reused.
Well, took a while but I finally got the drivers power seat installed. These are the power seat tracks that I think are out of a late70"s early 80"s olds/buick. Took a lot of mods to get the height right/close,still a 1/2 too high in the front. Fits me fine but Dan might have a hard time getting behind the wheel.Still need to make a bracket for the switch. Sure not much leg room in the back of these cars.

If that's as far back as the seat goes, I'm thinking I'll have to settle for being a passenger , but I have been behind the wheel of mine with the bench seat, so there is hope .
Drivers seat goes further back. You'll get a front seat Dan.....Doug will be in the trunk drinking my beer! Finished off the seat tonight mounted the switch and skirted the bottom, darn near looks like it should be there. Don't know how you ever swapped a whole interior over Carl, was enough of a pain to do 1 seat. Didn't have it wired up so I used my drill bat to test it out.

Was driving me nuts! Every time I looked in the car and saw the fawn headliner windlace running down the sandal A pillar so I took it out and base coated it sandal then used SEM vinyl satin clear ,think it looks better and sandal was stock. Did my kick panels at the same time. Great option if you don't have the right colour vinyl dye, after it dried it was still flexible and didn't crack.
Driver side almost done, glass is in! What a pain to put in new vent window weatherstrip. Stole some parts from the 4 dr ,James doesn't mind as long as it's all together and painted when he starts driving it (have a year and a 1/2)! Also finished off under the hood, bumpers, cowl seal, hood lip and insulation.Just needs a wash now. Next is pass side, just need to move the car over in my 10' wide garage!
1 more weekend and on the road buddy.Looks damn good.
Your skillset is unmatched.lol

Thanks guys. Made up some seat belt clips today, just used some male ends, cut off the old belt and screwed to some 1/8 flat bar.Used original holes in console to mount. Still need to put a belt in the trunk for Doug..........Safety First.

Spent the last few days wiring, all the exterior and interior lights are done. Installed the stereo under the pass seat and made sure the remote works from DS seat ,also made up a new package shelf cover. Don't like the look of speaker covers so I just covered it with some course material. She runs has tunes and lights, getting the bug to drive!!

Yup, think that will be on the play list for the first cruise! Back bumper, ps side glass,frt/rear windsheild and put on the hoist to re torque all the bolts. Don't want this to happen!!!(not funny!)Couldn't imagine if it was my own car.
Didn't like the height of my power antenna (too high) so rather than buy another I picked up a couple of interrupt switches, this way I can adjust the height to whatever I like(car needs a good dusting!). Also got the car outside for the first time since I brought it home.
