My Christmas gift arrived today!
(Preview)
As I've mentioned probably one too many times on here, my inspiration for buying the Laurentian was because my dad had a 69 Pontiac (Strato Chief) when I was a kid. I looked a lot of years for a decent one. Well, my wife was well aware of the reason I bought the car and felt this would be a fitting Christmas gi...

Hi Everyone, I just purchased my first classic Pontiac. Its a Canadian built 1970 Parisienne Convertible. Its a 350 (Chevy) with a TH350. I have read that I should be sourcing Chevy parts and not Pontiac parts....its all a little confusing.... Could anyone tell me if the Hood hinges off a 1970 Impala w...

Progress report and a few more photos of my Laurentian
(Preview)
I'm slowly making some progress on the Laurentian. The brakes are finally bled. Next on the to-do list is to pull the gas tank and send it out for cleaning and epoxy lining. I also have to figure out why the gas guage isn't working. I suspect the sending unit. Next, a dual exhaust is getting installed. I'm...

4 speed station wagons???
(

)
(Preview)
Has anyone ever seen a factory 4 speed Canadian station wagon? I know I've seen US versions of Pontiac wagons with a stick, and full size Chevrolet wagons with a stick, but I don't think I've ever heard of a Canadian full size Pontiac wagon stick car.

The GM parts book lists a factory vacuum gauge for 65 only. I have never seen a factory gauge in any full size Canadian Pontiac that I can think of. Anyone?

Some old photos of my Laurentian
(Preview)
I was very fortunate to get a number of items with my Laurentian including the owners manual, folder, protect-o-plate, and best of all copies of old photos of the car taken before, during and after it's 1978 restoration. I finally had a chance to scan them today so now I can share some of them: From what I...
