69' Big CP' Jacking instruction decal?
(Preview)
Anyone know if these are reproduced, if not, how would I go about getting some done. I have no Idea where to start, although I do know some members here have had decals reproduced. So I know it can be done at a cost. Was this sheet unique to CP's, or did the USA cars use the same one?

For anyone interested, here's a little progress report, Firewall is pretty much good to go, the common rusty seam was a challenge, spent a good bit of time prepping and painting the inside and up under the upper dash area. All that sprayed on red glue was tough to remove. A entire day was spent pr...

Hood hinge restoration?
(Preview)
Anyone here know of a good place to have hood hinges restored? I have 2 sets and although they're seem pretty solid on the rivets, they look do pretty sad. I'd like them rebuilt and refinished in that medium gray oxide look, that the factory used. My thinking is, in order to refinish them properly, the...

Re-chroming?

Where is the best place relatively close to the GTA to get my front bumper rechromed? I know of Cambridge Custom Chrome, but have heard nothing good about it. Could anyone relay their experiances, good or bad with rechroming in Ontario? Cheers, Mark.

HELP !!
(Preview)
Hey everyone, Its been a while since I last posted but I really need your help. I pulled the seats and carpet out of my 70 Parisienne Conv. and I saw that I had to replace or repair the rear floor pans. I had a journeyman welder come by, a real honest guy, and he said I have a bit of frame rot along the side rails (...

Rear Wings
(Preview)
I have been looking at the rear wings that came on the 1970 and I prefer the ones on the 1969 as they come into the quarter panel edge and have a cleaner fit (personal opinion). Will the 1969 fit on a 1970 as from a glance it looks like it will. Thanks

Another milestone for me!
(Preview)
After 4 years, and never thinking the body would ever get started, I finally cleaned up and shot some epoxy on the body! You'd be surprised how much time it takes to remove all the overlapping trim on a ragtop. I got pretty lucky, only 3 screws were stuck, and only 2 needed drilling to remove. The botto...

Guys, I'm onto the body phase now. I'm scraping the undercoat off the underbody in prep. for degreasing and powerwashing (thank god for the rotis!). Looks as expected but It's obvious I'll need to treat all the scaly rust as it won't be getting dipped or blasted. I have a small pressure pot blaster t...

Paint stripper, where in Ontario to buy?
(Preview)
Guys, I'm just about ready to begin working on my body, from what I've read, the best way (other than media blast) to start, is to chemically strip all the old paint off the panels. I see that the best available product that restorers use is simply a comercially available Aircraft stripper. Probabl...

Price?
(Preview)
I've got a 1969 Pontiac Lemans convertible that it is breaking my heart to have to sell. New baby and other things have made it impossible to keep and it needs alot of work. It needs about $1200.00 in mechanical work and $5000.00 in bodywork. Any idea what I could list it as? Thanks so much!
