Back in the beginning of May I was cruising Kijiji and found a fresh posting that said 1969 GTO, $500 with the pictures arrached. Called the person asap and confirmed the vin as a legit goat. 25 minutes later and $500 less I was the proud new owner. Went last Saturday for a 6 hour round trip to retrieve my new find.
Mixed thoughts on what to do. Here's some more when I got home and had a chance to wash the exterior. The car was burnt decades ago and while sitting in the bush had a tree come down on it.
In short the original buckets, console and back seat are gone. However there is what appears to be the original 400 still in the car, or at least the #62 heads are on the motor. The trans fluid looks new, freaking amazing.

Do you have a Southern shell to use to replace the present shell? Have access to a southern frame? with a new body and frame the rest is just paint and interior... looks like a eazy fix
Great stuff Eric! You absolutely can't go wrong with buying the car for around $700.00 when all is said & done!
