We had about 20cm last night. Damn Jeep wouldn't start this morning. Had to wait until the road was plowed and then took the Toyota to work. Jeep has a neutral safety switch problem. Common problem. Usually cured by taking it apart and cleaning it. Unfortunately it's bolted to the trans and is a bugger to get out. Not something I'm willing to do when it's -15. I'm going to figure out a temporary bypass for it. Don't tell the shifter police!

I like the plain graphic plate like pictured (without Province House on it). It looks less "American".

Islanders blame the bridge for the drugs and crime on PEI (they never existed before the bridgebiggrin), so why not blame it for the snowfall also.

Back in the fall a customer came in and said she needed tires. I priced out some BF Goodrich all seasons. She asked "Are they ground grips?"  Now we seem to sell alot  of Chinese tires here on the island so I figured it was another crazy Chinese brand. I said "Well, they're BG Goodrich, a really good brand". She said to put them on. After they are installed she asked again "Are those ground grips?". I finally asked her what she meant by "Ground Grips". "Winter tires!" was here reply. Ooops...

Here's some Kijiji proof:

$100 obo ground grip snow tires

Ground grips help get traction on our slippy (slippery) roads after we get some weather (bad weather), when there is a lot of oice (ice) and the roads are dirty (covered in snow).biggrin

A few years back my son worked at CTC after school.

A guy brought in a Craftsman screwdriver set and the refund clerk gave him a refund.

refunded Craftsman?...... not Mastercraft ....oops.

Best place for refunds is Princess Auto...everything is filed under your phone number and no receipts are required.

Sounds like the new owners of the CTC are sending your friend a message.....
