Thanks Dan.Had a big smile on my face but think I left some finger nail marks in the wheel. Nothing fell off and didn't end up in the ditch,so that's good! Will get my son to ride in the back seat and video the next trip. Spent the whole day cleaning up the undercarriage, last time it was on a hoist was just before the guys came over last year then for exhaust so it just got a quick job to get her running/stopping.

Diff is done! Marked axle so if/when it comes out I can see how much twist it has from the new posi.biggrin Went out on the "R" plate and took her around the block....cop car at the first cornerhmm so couldn't get on it too muchcry. Running a bit ritch but once you cleared it out a bit....rocket! My miss mash brake system  worked well, just the right pedal feel. Tried to take a movie but the camera fell off the dash as soon as I punched it, good movie of the floor though.wink Next time I'll let Doug out of the trunk to hold the dang thing!(once hes finished his beer of course). Insurance then wheel alignment......should be good to go!!

Oh, not here. PEI is puritan ... no "ballet" here.

Fixed a couple of small things this weekend. Now that I know the car is safe....took the family out for their first cruise! My daughter was the one most excited, she's a little dare devil and not afraid of anything(always wants to go faster boat or car!) Couple more nights of tuning but other than that I would say the car is done!!! Just a short vid, my daughters camera went dead!

Excellent!!! Great Family pic.
Sounds great, looks even better. Now go put some miles on her.
I guess I have to get to work now too, seeing as I can't just watch you work anymore.

Well good for you Jim. You have every right to be a very proud guy for doing absolutely everything on that car. It looks and sounds just great. I am looking forward to seeing it some time.

Thanks guys! Think my wife is too paranoid to drive it,told her it's just a car and shes a good driver. Will go out with her a few times (in the car!) till she gets the feel of it.

Tim: I'll be up your way in June for the swap meet, see ya there.
Doug: It's not a race,you'll get there...then you can race (me)!biggrin

Dan:Thanks for all the encouragement along the way! I still have purple paint by the way.wink

Jerel: Will be heading up your way with the car July sometime. Looking forward to seeing yours! Would be a blast to go out on a cruise together.smile

Thanks to  Todd for creating Canadian Poncho and all the members for their help and encouragement along the way. Not going anywhere.......still have a 4dr to do!!!

Thanks Jim

I think I saw your car on the Sooke road today about 1:00 PM going towards Victoria. I was going the other way. Looks good at speed!

Was just about to put up a wanted add.........was wondering how you were making out on the rock? Yes it was me, was heading over to my buddies to do some more tuning but ran into a hickup. Seems my left bank 02 sensor isn't reading again!!! Thought it was fixed last time around (couple of moths ago). Last week we went out and did some tuning and it was working fine, yesterday it was flat lined so I went home and cut off connector and hard wired. Took back today and still flat lined?confuse Checked 02 sensor, voltage, resistance etc. Going to run all new wires to o2 sensor and if that doesn't fix it.....might be the ECM,just seems weird to work fine then not. Was getting a bit frustrated but Terry reminded me that 2 1/2 years ago it was upside down on a rotisserie so I'm bound to have a bug or two. I'll get her and post a vid when I do!biggrin
