About to drop the Lwr. control arms to replace bushings. 3 bolts holding them to frame on ea. side !! Are they threaded into frame or nuts on backside?? Just have to split B/joint & "crank up spring compressor!!!! Bushings look worse than the uppers were!!!

Anybody got a master cylinder on a shelf they could measure the bore of please? Car is power brake drum / drum. I want to buy a new dual circuit one while here in California. (I bought one last year but it wouldn't take the long push rod at the front of the servo unit)

Greetings to all. Replaced leaking valve cover gasket on 1959 7519 6. What would be a save torque spec for the 4 screws that hold it on? There is no mention in the manual. Its such a large and long cover only supported by 4 screws and Im afraid to mangle it. Many Thanks in advance. Robert

Having a little trouble getting the rear drum off. 1961 Canadian Pontiac. I can rotate them. They wiggle a little bit. But it seems that the piece circled is holding them on. Should that come off in some fashion? Not sure if I have got the shoes backed off enough either as they make the adjuster really har...

How hard is it to replace upper and lower control arm bushings? Do they need to be pressed out?This is on a 64 Parisienne.

Thinking of replacement for original brake booster/cylinder assy. Looking at 8" dual with CPP,s mount. It moves brake assy. up 1 3/4" (original mount has that) but also moved it over to left 2". Now there is room for a BBC. Getting the mount may be easy. But where to get a US made booster/master cylin...

Hello has anyone out there attempted or installed one of the "new " P.S. conversions from Classic or anyone else using the new 500 series bolt in boxes. is it "that " easy, no machining, cutting or ugly brackets.I have a standard box that is way beyond fun anymore.

Does anyone know if there's a kit you can buy for welding onto a hardtop or sedan frame to strengthen it for a convertible? I'm thinking about those long thin strips of curved metal that are top and bottom of a convertible 58-64 X-frame.
