Just to confirm, a 350 turbo in a Nova/Acadian has a straight, cross member, and a 400 turbo, has a cross memeber, with a curve in it? Carl

So tonight after I had drilled out a broken stud, I was running the 3/8" tap to get the threads back, and "snap", the noise I sure didn't count on hearing. I broke the manifold around an exhaust stud bolt hole. How big should I have drilled before running the tap?

I need a full set of valves for my 65 327 heads. The guides are .003" oversize and I can't seem to find any suppliers in Canada for them. Anyone have any experience with this, or know of any big engine parts stores/warehouses/speed shops I can try calling. This valve is the same as is used in a 69 350 fo...

I was going through the starter today that will go on my Acadian. New drive, bushings, solenoid etc. I see a threaded hole that is wide open in the main housing. I put a stubby 5/16" bolt in it, just to plug the hole. I see no purpose for it. Anyone know what it is for? It's the shiny head bolt near the end...

this is what i've been working on this winter. its a 87 f150 9in that i've narrowed down to 38in between the backing plates. i'm just waiting for the spring perches then i'll dry assemble and mockup in the chassis. the reason the shafts aren't the same lenghts is that i've centered the pinion.
