Does anyone have a photo or diagram of how the ignition switch mounts in the dash? I have the outside retainer ring and the inner sleeve but I feel like there is a piece missing. My 66 ash tray must have been used by the passengers way back when. Has anyone had success cleaning these? I am wondering if Evapo-Rust might help? I want to keep the anodized look if I clean it.

Is there a trick to getting the visor shaft out of the mount? It won't separate with the screw out. It won't pry open. I'm stumped. I see two slots, but for what? This is just a old 65 visor and bracket I have, not the actual one now in the car. I'm replacing those with colour matching ones from Cliff.

I think the 65 has a Borg Clock. It's fast to the tune of about 10 minutes every 24 hours. Apparently winding it back through 12 hours it's supposed to slow the clock. I've done it numerous times and it seems to make little to no difference. Any thoughts or experience on this? Thanks, Mark

How can I wire under dash (led's) lights to come on when the doors are opened? I have the door switches already that work the dome light.... Can't find the wire leading to the dome light... THX

I think they made the hook style seen below forever. I know I could get all this stuff new, but I'm shying away from the USA parts houses right now. Looking for nice hooks, visor mounts and the associated screws if possible. Any help appreciated,
