Another interesting discovery in the 69 Pontiac.
(Preview)
This discovery doesnt mean much to most but for some who saw my earlier posts regarding this car you will see where Im coming from. One thread was how to rifle an ignition to shift and turn the wheel. I did that pretty quick with a drill and a few bits. Today while pulling off the seatbelts I found the keys u...

Rechroming
(Preview)
I think the 60's was perhaps the decade with the attitude to add as much bling as possible to cars. I also think that my '62 Parisienne was the poster child for that philosophy as I don't know any other car with more square inches of chrome. I took a lot of photos of the bumpers and side chrome, included a m...

For the last 10 years I've been pretty lucky flying under the radar with Photobucket. I use them to host all the photos and banners used on Poncho. While I have never used up my storage allotment I have been blowing past the bandwidth allowed with my plan. I was on a plan no longer available which cost abou...

I'm going through stuff, cleaning up because I realize I'll never use a lot of this, and likely never even get it out on display. I don't have a display case for it and the stuff seems to mean nothing to my family. I found this, totally had forgotten about it. I don't think I'd ever even taken it out of the tin...

I have always loved Don even in the worst of times when he was getting himself into trouble for just being himself. The reality is that we live in very different times that will probably never change now. He was even slammed for liking Rob Ford when he was still alive and dead. Don is a great guy and i share m...

Strange vintage 5th wheel assembly..behind a 68 Grande!?
(Preview)
Anyone ever seen such a device? New member Cindy (skidder) posted some shots of her dads 68 with the 5th wheel in the emblem wanted post. Thought I would move it to a new post. Any ideas? Factory or homebuilt?

Vanguard motors, Not everything they have is to my liking, but the way the cars are presented is very well done, and the production is pretty slick. And pretty much a new car everyday.

Was at a muffler shop yesterday and hanging on the wall was an exhaust collector. it was done in stainless steel and had many complex curves. I commented on the skill that it takes to make such a piece and he said is just a wall decoration now. They built up another one that flowed much better .
