I wandered through Buck's today, and spotted this truck from a distance. It stood out like a sore thumb, even though it was in the old car area. I don't recall ever seeing a Flathead at an Auto Wreckers before, it was quite a find.

I dont know my 50s cars but this is something you dont see every day. At the local PickNPull. I dont know what parts if any are shared with Pontiacs but the valve covers, steering wheel, interior door handles etc are still with it.

The lady I got my truck from has this bulb, it works too. She lived in Halifax during WW2, its a blackout bulb. The black section emits zero light , the ring at the top emirs a pale reddish glow, enough to not fall over the furniture in the dark.
