I know the tag informations are in the engine bay. But, in Belgium, they need to find this number engraved in the metal of the frame or the body. Can I find the VIN on the frame of a '57? Or have I to burn it?

I recently purchased a remanufactured radio for my 51 Pontiac. However, it did not come with a mounting bracket. Does anyone know where I might find a picture of the bracket to fabricate one or where I can purchase one.
