I called the local GM dealer an they are discontinued. There are no aftermarket ones I can find.It appears it was only availab...
Interesting study on the effects of the lower speed impacts and repair costs on the cars we grew up on. Cringe worthy when they pull back for the frontal view. Ouch! -- Edited by cdnpont on Wednesday 20th of November 2024 04:14:39 PM

Hello Out There ... I finally picked up my 1969 Beaumont Deluxe after two years and a lot of drama to get this far. Sadly, the shop did a terrible job of the headliner, claiming it was because it was so old (it wasn't - I had it replaced about ten years ago) and the wiring is a mess. The heater, fan, interior li...
I'm asking for a friend that's restoring a 63 Acadian Canso. He wants to know the width of the windshield if it's the same for a 2 door or 4 door sedan. He's also looking for front bumper inner brackets and believes they are the same from 63-65. If anyone can help would be great. Thanks.
I found this 1969 Parisienne in the Edmonton area. It is complete and all original except for a color change and an added vinyl roof. I was going to buy it for a big block swap but changed my mind as it is too original to pull apart and is quite decent overall. -- Edited by Shrike on Saturday 9th of Novemb...
New listing, not often seen NOS, GM 3954621https://www.kijiji.ca/v-transmission-drive-train/winnipeg/1965-1968-impala-4-spd-nos-bell-crank-z-bar-3954621/1706713382
I was looking at the production numbers. It shows that there were 2,721 Grande Parisienne coupes made. Of these, 325 got a 396 and only 290 got bucket seats. Can anyone confirm this bucket seat figure? Has anyone with a 67 grande bucket car had the GM Canada VVS documents that show this figure?
The owner of a 1966 Grand Prix could boast about some points over the Grande Parisienne, such as wide track chassis, optional triple-carb performance engines, optional 8 bolt wheels, lower body chrome cladding and real wood trim. However, the Grande Parisienne owner can claim some counter boast...

My mate's 1965 Parisienne was hit in the rear by a runaway trailer. Looking for a good tail panel trim including at least the "PARI" letters. Let me know what you have available. I'm in Australia, so if someone is willing to ship internationally I'd really appreciate the help.
Our 57 wagon is 1510 of 1639 produced. Is it recorded anywhere how many are still around? Are there any left in Ontario? I will post pics showing progress on the car. Thanks -- Edited by Canwag57 on Saturday 8th of December 2018 08:47:08 PM
Planning a head with our project....wondering if anyone came up with the paint code for the baby blue engine hood springs. I did a search of this site and read a lot of stuff but didn't find where anyone was able to answer this. I can't say with certainty but I think it may only available on 58 - 62. I know...
Anyone have one of these for sale? It must be this exact face. Just like the gauges we all had when we were teens. If I'm going to put aftermarket gauges in my Strato Chief under the dash it will be these or nothing. Thanks.
This one is for the 1968 SS427 I believe. Very good condition. I'll offer it at $75 and you pay the postage. This will fit is an XS flat rate box so that's $20 anywhere in the Great White North.
Dropped my car off at the detailers to get a ceramic coating applied. Seems to be a little shinier, looks pretty good I think. -- Edited by Lt1 Burb on Saturday 16th of November 2024 05:28:08 PM
I've found 5 undeveloped (and exposed), and 3 developed spools of super 8. From the late 60's, early 70's. My dad had a Bell & Howell camera. Just found in my late parents stuff. I knew they existed, but couldn't find them till now. A priceless treasure to be sure as all of us really only have still ima...
